 Painter Jan Karpíšek (1981) creates images and assamblages together with the natural processes. Behind the hill north of Brno, in the garden under the forested decline, a streamlet gurles, mudding the fabric, dangling across the hatch. In the course of time he paints rain, algae and germinating plants in the lake, constructed from the painterly canvas, covered with earth colours. And also sun which repeatedly drains the lake. Bees work in the hives with the inserted letters, portraits and coloured papers. They bite into the drawing together with paper and bring it outside in the shape of grinded wad. Other times they build their wax work to the base. In the exhibition in Jihlava, mostly bee artefacts will be presented. Meditation, research of the controlled as well as chance events and human mind, which sometimes attributes them various meaning, could be named as the theme of the exhibition.
