The exhibition will present a selection from the extensive work of Jihlava native, academic painter Gustav Krum, who is rightly ranked among the leading Czech illustrators. His drawings accompanied nearly 100 historical and adventurous books with a wide range of themes from ancient themes to Czech history and archeology. He was best known for illustrations of Karel May, Jaroslav Foglar, Jack London, and comic books.

Krum's works from the collections of the Vysočina Regional Gallery in Jihlava will be presented at the exhibition, with themes related mainly to the history of Jihlava, as well as drawings from the private collections, focusing mainly on adventure topics.
